Description:
Alternative splicing removes the WW-binding motif of Tumor protein p73 (TP73), abrogating binding to Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase NIMA-interacting 1 (PIN1). Isoforms lacking WW-binding motifs have decreased transcriptional activity.
