Switch #:
SWTI000003
Switch type:
Binary
Switch subtype:
Physicochemical compatibility

Description:
Dephosphorylation of the PIF motif by PHLPP1/2 results in reduced stability and increased degradation of PKC. This is countered by autophosphorylation of the PIF motif, but mTORC2 might also contribute.

Participants:
(1) Isoform Beta-II of Protein kinase C beta type (PRKCB)

Interactions
Interaction #1 PRKCB - PRKCB(intramolecular)
intramolecular
Interfaces
(1) DOC_AGCK_PIF_1 motif (656FEGFSF661) in Isoform Beta-II of Protein kinase C beta type (PRKCB)
(2) Protein kinase domain (342-600) in Isoform Beta-II of Protein kinase C beta type (PRKCB)

Interaction Regulation
