Description:
Phosphorylation of S392 in the 14-3-3-binding motif of Sodium/calcium exchanger 1 (SLC8A1) induces binding to the 14-3-3 protein epsilon (YWHAE) protein. This interaction inhibits the activity of Sodium/calcium exchanger 1 (SLC8A1).
