Switch #:
SWTI000191
Switch type:
Binary
Switch subtype:
Physicochemical compatibility

Description:
Phosphorylation of the LC4 region of Sorting nexin-9 (SNX9) abolishes its interaction with Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA). However, the exact position of the residues that are phosphorylated and regulate binding is not known.

Participants:
(1) Sorting nexin-9 (SNX9)
(2) Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA)

Interactions
Interaction #1 SNX9 - ALDOA

Interfaces
(1) ELM:LIG_Glycolytic_Aldolase motif (165WDEDW169) in Sorting nexin-9 (SNX9)
(2) Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase class-I (15-364) in Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA)

Interaction Regulation
PTM-dependent Abrogation (Phosphorylation of Y154, T159, S174, S175, S176, Y177, S181 and S183 on Sorting nexin-9 (SNX9)) of the Sorting nexin-9 (SNX9) LIG_Glycolytic_Aldolase motif - Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA) Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase class-I interaction
