Description:
Alternative splicing removes the PDZ-binding motif of 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase beta-1 (Plcb1), abrogating binding to Na(+)/H(+) exchange regulatory cofactor NHE-RF1 (Slc9a3r1). Plcb1 does not bind to Slc9a3r2.
