Description: Alternative splicing removes the PDZ-binding motif of Isoform Kalirin-7 of Kalirin (Kalrn), abrogating binding to Disks large homolog 4 (Dlg4). Isoform Kalirin-7 of Kalirin (Kalrn) is the most prevalent isoform in the adult rat hippocampus where it locates to the postsynaptic density via an interaction with Dlg4 and regulates dendritic morphogenesis.
Participants: (1) Isoform Kalirin-7 of Kalirin (Kalrn) (2) Disks large homolog 4 (Dlg4)
