Switch #:
SWTI000163
Switch type:
Binary
Switch subtype:
Physicochemical compatibility

Description:
Dual phosphorylation of S32 and S36 in the TrCP1-binding motif of NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha (NFKBIA) targets the protein to the SCF ubiquitin ligase complex, which marks it for degradation.

Participants:
(1) NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha (NFKBIA)
(2) F-box/WD repeat-containing protein 1A (BTRC)
